Experienced technical writer and software engineer.

I have spent the last year of my career writing open source documentation for users and developers. My professional experience is with Sphinx documentation, but I’ve also worked with Hugo and Docusaurus.

I have one year of experience writing production Python code and am comfortable with Java and C#. As a result of my work with static site generators, I also have basic proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

In university, my studies were focused on cryptography and neuroevolutionary algorithms.

reLabel

reLabel is a tool for redirecting labels in Sphinx documentation.

Technical writers go to great lengths to redirect pages and keep links healthy, but we rarely show the same care with Sphinx labels and references. reLabel was my answer to that problem.

Kitbash

Kitbash is a tool that generates Sphinx documentation for Pydantic models.

I wrote Kitbash in early 2025 to generate the YAML references for Canonical’s craft tools. To see this in action, check out the snapcraft.yaml reference and its reST source.
